Accessible Travel in Shanghai

The city’s public transportation system is well-equipped with ramps and elevators. Shanghai offers accessible tourist spots like The Bund and Yu Garden. Moreover, the city's modern metro system is generally wheelchair-friendly.

International hotels like the Fuyue Hotel often have multiple accessible room options. As a rather convenient campus, Tongji University (Siping Road Campus) is located in Shanghai with a nice park-like surrounding. All publicly available buildings and rooms used for the 5th PAGES Young Scientists Meeting (YSM) are fully wheelchair accessible and equipped with Wifi (e.g. EDUROAM).
